Dalton Boutté is the Executive Vice President of WesternGeco, the world's largest seismic company, a subsidiary or Schlumberger.
Boutté began his career with Schlumberger in 1980 after graduating from the University of New Orleans with a degree in civil engineering. He has held several important positions with Schlumberger, including president of Wireline and president of Europe, the Soviet Union and Africa. In the 1990s Schlumberger sent Dalton to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a visiting fellow at the Sloane School of Business. He received an associate degree in business administration from MIT in 1992. He has traveled extensively and been a resident of at least six countries, including Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Argentina, France, and the UK.
He has a son, James, and a daughter Erica. He lives with his wife, Brenda in Houston, TX.
