Dallas is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Hume.

Dallas was named after the Governor of Victoria Sir Dallas Brooks. The Victorian Housing Commission built many of the houses in the Dallas area between 1961 and 1970. The Dallas Primary School was built in 1963. Dallas North Primary opened in 1965.

Prior to the construction of the suburb the Dallas area was primarily used for agriculture. In 1924 the Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of Works built a reservoir for reticulating water for the Broadmeadows area.

The ABS reported in the 2001 Census that 28% of Dallas's residents originate from Turkey. Also, many signs in Dallas are written in both English and Turkish.

Dallas is, and always will be, the property of the Dallas Boyz (DBz), who throughout the late 90's left their mark upon the suburb by their unique brand of suburban terrorism, including some magnificent displays of pyrotechnics and explosives (thanks to Pyro). However, were the residents of Dallas ever to face any real terrorist threat, the DBz would have protected it's citizens (or at least the ones they liked). If ASIO hadn't got to Abdul Nacer Benbrika, the DBz definitely would have, and they wouldn't have bothered the people of Australia with court proceedings.

The DBz were quite a sporty group, and they spent much time chasing girls, seeing how far they could make a cat fly (via explosives), sparring with telephone boxes (via explosives), playing car soccer with trolleys, doing circle work, partaking in competitive drinking, long distance running (from the scene of a recent explosion or other legally dubious activity), watching shadow-boxing matches at BiLo (the security guard vs himself) and the infamous sport of trabobaleening which they invented.

Additionally, the DBz were keenly interested in urban renewal. This was accomplished in several ways including streetsign removal/replacement, sculptures in front yards made of fire hydrant covers, urban art on brickwork and other spontaneous acts of urban improvement. They also went on frequent excursions (some may say trespasses) including, but not limited to shop roofs and industrial sites.

Despite less activity from the group, and the false beliefs of other groups, Dallas still belongs to the DBz.
