Dalkeith High School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dalkeith High School is a non-denominational secondary state school located in Dalkeith, Midlothian, Scotland.

In October 2004, Dalkeith High School was integrated into the Private Public Partnership Dalkeith Schools Community Campus, Cousland Road, along with St David's RC High School and Saltersgate School, a special education facility, making it the first such joint secondary school campus in Scotland.

The old school building remains unused. Midlothian Council spent £3,000 on lighting and £10,000 on security between 2004 and 2007, leading to criticism from local Conservative and Green Party politicians. As of June 2007, the council was near an agreement to sell the property.[1]
