Dalemead, Alberta

Dalemead is a designated place (an unincorporated hamlet) in southern Alberta, in the Municipal District of Rocky View.
Dalemead is located approximately 50 kilometers or 31.1 miles southeast of the City of Calgary, just south of Highway 22X.
Established in 1913, Dalemead was originally named Strathmead but after some confusion with the nearby Town of Strathmore, the name was changed to Dalemead. Dalemead is located on the Canadian Pacific Railway line.
