Dale Frank

Dale Leonard Frank (born 1959) is an Australian contemporary artist. Frank was born near Singleton, New South Wales, Australia. He has participated in many solo and group exhibitions in Australia and internationally since the early 1980s. He has an abstract style with swirling colours. He uses techniques of pouring paint onto canvas, the aspect of pouring the paint being important in his work.

Frank worked in Europe and America in the 1980s, then returned to Australia in rural parts of New South Wales and Queensland. He won the 2005 Arthur Guy Memorial Painting Prize from the Bendigo Art Gallery (Australia's richest painting prize in 2005), worth $50,000.

Frank was married to Kim leonie, Denise, Machan (born 1960). Who he soon had his two offspring with;Napoleon, Odelion, Eugene, Sebastian, Dale, Maitland, Frank (born 1988); and Iris-Ophelia Consuela, Cleopatra, Anastacia, Magnolia, Mortisha, Tallulah, Frank (born 1989).
