Dale Belford (born 11 June 1967 in Tamworth, England) is a footballer currently playing for Conference North side Hinckley United, where he plays as Goalkeeper for the club.

Belford started his professional career as an apprentice for Aston Villa back in July 1985, but after failing to secure a first team slot, he moved on to Sutton Coldfield Town in December 1986.

After only a few months with the club, Belford moved on to Notts County in March 1987 and spells with VS Rugby and Nuneaton Borough were soon to follow.

In October 1988, Belford joined Tamworth and was an instrumental part of the victorious FA Vase winning team, instantly receiving legendary status with the Tamworth faithful.

Belford moved on in July 1990 for a second spell with Sutton Coldfield Town. For the rest of 1990s, Belford became a well travelled non-league goalkeeper. He playing for Tamworth (in his second spell), then signed for Hinckley United in July 1997 and was with them for their very first season, before moving on to Atherstone United.

September 2003 saw Belford move on from The Adders and join Gresley Rovers where he spent two seasons with the club, before re-joining Hinckley United in his second spell.

Belford then moved on to the steps of a coaching role when he re-joined Sutton Coldfield Town as a player/goalkeeping coach.

At the start of the 2006/07 season, Belford re-joined Tamworth for his third spell occupying the same role as player/goalkeeping coach.

In March 2007, Belford followed former Lambs Assistant Manager Richard Dryden to Northern Premier League First Division side Shepshed Dynamo.

Belford's stay at Shepshed Dynamo was a short one with him following former manager Adam Stevens to Midland Football Alliance side Coalville Town in June 2007.

Dale then re-joined Hinckley United, now in the Conference North, for his third spell in September 2007, occupying a familiar role as player/goalkeeping coach.

Also recently featured for Leicester City in their recent National Masters final victory saving Leicester with a penalty shoot-out stop vs Wolverhampton Wanderers.
