Dalatiidae is a family of sharks, commonly known as sleeper sharks. They are found worldwide.
All members of the family except for the Pacific sleeper shark, Somniosus pacificus, have luminescent organs.

In some classifications this family includes the genera Centrophorus, Cirrhigaleus and Deania but this article follows FishBase in placing those genera in the families Centrophoridae (Centrophorus and Deania) and Squalidae (Cirrhigaleus).
In other classifications the subfamilies are raised to the level of the families Etmopteridae, Somniosidae and Oxynotidae.
