[edit] Configurations
Note that the Dire Wolf Prime configuration was originally a set of 2 Large Pulse Lasers, 2 Medium Pulse Lasers, and an Ultra AC/5 on each arm, and the LRM 10-rack on the left shoulder, whose computer would usually scream "heat level critical" within thirty seconds of opening fire. This was changed drastically in MechWarrior 4 due to the hardpoint system not being able to fit the configuration onto the 'Mech, and changed further in the Mercenaries expansion due to the general increase of energy weapon heat. Since I'm a jerk, I'll just go ahead and randomly rewrite the article to my whim. Oh, and no primary configuration is ever as useful as it should be. Edit: ... (thinks) No, too lazy to edit.Cipher42 03:48, 10 January 2007 (UTC) Real Edit: Meh, my bad... wrong page (smacks forehead). Cipher42 01:01, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Marked for Deletion
It has been brought to my attention that this article is marked for deletion on the grounds of wikipedia's policy on notability. While it isn't a major article in itself, it is still necessary info for the battletech universe. Several pages link to various Mech pages, and therefore it more encourages the need for a page for the mech. I suggest that there is a page encompassing all the mechs in Battletech and the games based off of it, if that page turns out to be too long, mechs could be seperated further. However, with a page for all the mechs at once, notability won't be a major problem, as I've seen several other subjects handled the same way, and pages linking to the mechs can be fixed to lead to the mech list page.
I'm going to try to start it out, but my knowledge of the Battletech universe will be limited and it will be more of a starter form to encourage more information from the more Battletech-savvy editors around. - JEV3 17:50, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
