Landkarte von Japan, Farbige Tuschezeichnung von Daikokoya Kodayu

Auf der Rückseite ist in der Hand Kodayus der Titel und das Datum angegeben sowie sein Stempel abgedruckt, auf Deutsch: „Am 28. Juli des 9. Jahres der Tenmei-Ära [= 1789]. Kaiserreich Japan, Ise-Land, Shiroko. Daikokuda Kodayu.“ Der Vermerk von Georg Thomas von Asch (1729–1807), der die Karte an die Universität Göttingen sandte, lautet: „aus Irkutsk erhalten 1793.“
