Dragon Ball Daimaou Fukkatsu (translated; Resurrection of the Demon King) released on the Famicom by Bandai, 1988. A graphic adventure game with the player in the role of Ginsou. The players interactions with the other characters/locations are achieved through a menu of actions. The player chooses the action and destination (for instance See-Table) from the options available. The Battle Cards system, which would go on to be featured in every subsequent Famicom Dragon Ball title, made their debut in this game. When Ginsou encounters an enemy the outcome of their confrontation is decided by the random set of papers in their possession.
