Daisy Kennedy

Daisy Kennedy (16 January 1893 - 30 July 1981) was an Australian-born concert violinist.

Daisy Kennedy was the daughter of Joseph Kennedy, headmaster of East Adelaide School. A pupil of Otakar Ševčík, she appeared in London in 1911 and toured widely in Europe and in the United States, Australia and New Zealand.

She was married to the Ukrainian pianist Benno Moiseiwitsch, by whom she was the mother of the theatre designer Tanya Moiseiwitsch. After divorcing Moiseiwitsch, she married the English playwright and poet John Drinkwater.
