Dai Astley

David John "Dai" Astley (born 11 October 1909, Dowlais, Wales; died 7 November 1989) was a Wales international football player.

Astley was a prolific goalscorer for Metz, Charlton, Aston Villa, Derby County and Blackpool. He scored 92 goals for Aston Villa in 165 matches. Astley's international record is 12 goals in just 13 appearances for Wales.

Astley also managed Djurgårdens IF in Sweden from 1950 to 1954.
