Daišan

Daišan (Manchu: , Chinese: 代善) (1583-1648) was the second son of Nurhaci, the founder of the Qing Dynasty. At the death of his father in 1626, he helped his younger brother Hung Taiji ascend the throne. He was created Prince Li of the First Rank (Hošoi Doronggo Cin Wang) (和碩禮親王). He commanded the two Red-bannered armies (see Banner system) and was prominent in fighting for the expansion of the Qing Dynasty.
