[edit] Assessment
I'm going through Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/India articles by quality/1 and there are simply too many overrated articles in the list. Hopefully I don't get bored doing it :) =Nichalp «Talk»= 09:59, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Category of "women writers" under review for reinstatement
Hi! I hope you will pardon this notice, but the category "women writers" was recently deleted and is now up for deletion review. I noticed that you commented on an earlier discussion about "women" as a qualifier in categories and thought that you might like to know about the current discussion. scribblingwoman 16:36, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Welcome back
Thanks - it was great to get away. Australia is looking great in the World Cup. Good luck. ॐ Priyanath talk 04:05, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well then, my apologies and condolences. I was visiting India just when the World Cup began, and hopes were up for at least a good showing. I'm happy that Bangladesh made it to the next round. I'm still working on Vairagya when it comes to sports - the two don't go together very well I'm afraid. I've seen Buddhipriya's good editing, and also liked the barnstar (Hindu Firestar) he created, which I've been wanting to tell him. ॐ Priyanath talk 00:24, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Malhotra
Do you know of the existence of any Elite Dhai Ghar in which the Malhotras are defined as the highest of the Kshatriya? Do you know of the idea that Malhotras are all descended from Lord Yudhishtira? Do you believe Vivek Malhotra, who teaches biology in the University of California, has notability? Well that is what is proposed in the current version of the Malhotra page. I tried reverting but was reverted by 3 different users, some of them citing vandalism. The article fails all of Wikipedia's guidelines and policies. I request your help in maintaining this page. dishant 07:34, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- And the IP user who is promoting these ideas and just blanked this message on your talk page also has done this edit, in which they add unsourced claims blatantly!. dishant 08:13, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- If it doesn't take too much time, is this source enough to include the Dhai Ghar stuff into the Malhotra article?? It's more about intercaste marriage. Searching "Dhai Ghar" in google gives 19 results, some from Wikipedia copy sites. dishant 05:47, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

- Hi Dishant and 81.xxx, you may have noticed that I haven't been involved in this dispute for awhile now. I think you two should perform a Request for Mediation where many neutral people will analyse your arguments for including or discluding the information of Khatris, Vaishyas etc. I do not have the time right now to see if the sources given from both sides are true or not. Best wishes to both of you. GizzaChat © 11:49, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
