DAG (newspaper)

DAG (literal translation: Day) is a freely distributed Dutch language newspaper in the Netherlands. Its main competitors are Metro, Sp!ts, and De Pers. The first edition of DAG was published on May 8, 2007. The initial circulation was 325.000 but plans are made to up the circulation to 400.000 as well as publish an edition on Saturdays. DAG was initiated by telecom company KPN and publishing company PCM Uitgevers. In 2008 DAG is set to be repositioned.[1]
