[edit] Right wing?

The article states that Dafydd Wigley "described himself" as right wing. I find this quite difficult to believe. Does the editor have a reference? In what context was it said? "I am a right-winger" is very different to, say, "I am right-wing compared to Dafydd Elis-Thomas". I ask out of interest, more than anything else.
