Daffodil International University (Bengali: ড্যাফোডিল আন্তর্জাতিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) or (DIU) is an IT based, private university located at Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was established on 24 January 2002 by the Private University Act 1992.[2] The founder of this university is Md. Sabur khan, CEO of Daffodil group.

Cisco Networking Academy was launched in Daffodil International University on January 1, 2004.[3] The university arranges courses for the students based on the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) program.
- Microsoft IT Academy program
Daffodil International University offers Microsoft IT Academy program hosted by the Faculty of Science & Information Technology.
- Journal of Science and Technology
DIU Journal of Science and Technology provides a publication medium dealing with all topics related to academics, researchers, professionals, practitioners, educators, programmers, developers, managers, and executives in the field of Science and Technology.

Daffodil International University has been selected by Sun Microsystems in the software technologies used by Sun Microsystems' customers.[4] Employee and registered student can sign up through Daffodil International University.

- DIU has participated in the TeleMpiad Competition on 27-28 June, 2006 and achieved three out of ten prizes.[5]
- DIU has participated in the ‘IHEW Foundation-EFA Debate Festival' in 2006, achieved the first position among other universities including University of Dhaka Debating Society , North South Debating Club, Stamford University , Northern University and People's University Debating Club.
- DIU became the sponsor of Conquest 2006 of International Software Quality Institute held in Berlin.
