Welcome to my user page!

I hail (to the victors) from the great state of Michigan in the USA. I am a mechanical engineer and recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master's of Science and Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am an avid football (not soccer) and ice hockey fan. I also enjoy basketball and occasionally baseball.

I am also an Assistant Scoutmaster in my old Boy Scout Troop. I enjoy camping, canoeing, kayaking, fire-building, rifle shooting, archery, shotgun shooting (My favorite), and I am trying to give back more than Scouting gave me.

En plus, j'ai étudié la langue française. Je la parle courrament.

I am a huge sci-fi fan. My favorite movies include Predator, Alien and subsequent sequels. Some of my favorite books are based on these movies. Additionally, I absolutely love the Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMaster Bujold. I have contributed a large number of articles to Wikipedia for the Saga. I keep trying to expand the coverage on these great books.

In case anyone is curious, my name is the name of the main Predator in the book Alien vs Predator: Prey. Dachande is his nickname and means Different Knife. His real name is Yeyinde which means Brave One. I read the book when I was like 15 and I loved it.

Like many wikipedians, I like to drop some knowledge on whatever random site I am at, if I can. But I am actively trying to help create a complete set of entries on the Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMaster Bujold. They are some of my favorite books and I am trying to expand their coverage. Often I will create stubs on relevant parts of the Saga with the hopes that others will expand what I either do not know about or that I do not have to time to do well or cross check and verify. Please Help!
