Greetings! I saw you add your name to the Wikipedia:WikiProject Composers; we can always use more people interested in this area. From your username, I presume you admire the works of Dmitri Shostakovich? (D-Eb-C-B natural, but I don't need to explain that since you obviously know already ... :-) ) There's a small but dedicated group of contributors to the classical music area. Cheers! - Greetings again! As of putting together a portfolio to get into an undergraduate program, unless you are trying to get into Juilliard or somewhere, it probably does not need to be particularly large. I don't remember having to do one at all, for undergrad (grad school is a different matter). Have fun! Antandrus (talk) 23:18, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome part 2
I hope we'll be seeing more of you at Dmitri Shostakovich. There are also lots of his works for which we don't have articles yet, so you're more than welcome to write some of those. Mark1 11:32, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:IBlogo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:IBlogo.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:05, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
