Hello! I was born in 1988 and attend high school in Silver Spring, Maryland. My interests include classical music and literature. I expect to graduate this year with an IB diploma. My HL's are English, History, and French. My SL's are Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. And as you could probably tell from my username, I'm a big fan of Shostakovich. I wrote my Extended Essay on him. In my spare time, I like to click the "Random article" link.

Next year, I'll be attending the Steinhardt School at New York University. My major is music composition.

Is Wikipedia the first encyclopedia in history to contain articles about itself? What implications does this have regarding strange loops, Russel's paradox, and all that other self-referencing nonsense? That's what's plaguing my mind right now - yep, I'm reading Godel, Escher, Bach. It's making my head spin.
