actually, WARP did a number of post-D titles for the 3DO that not only didn't feature laura, and at least one was brought over to the states (the puzzle game flopon-kun the space mutant was turned into TRIP'D). as for the US version of D being "tamed" only the US 3DO version of the game is missing a brief scene of a character about to bite into an arm. otherwise, the playstation and saturn versions actually have MORE content than the original japanese version. in fact, the playstation import was called "D: Complete Graphics" and is exactly the same as the US version.

as for D no shokotaku: director's cut, the game also featured the trailer to the original version of D2, which was an entirely different game than appeared later on the dreamcast. there was also a "sound novel" bonus that told laura's story up to the moment the first game begins and a number of trailers (E3, TGS) for the original 3DO version of D.

[edit] You hit me with a flower

The review at Videogamecritic.net [1] makes a big deal of the game being played in real time, over a period of two hours. "This game is unique because it's played in real time, and it ends exactly after two hours after you start playing, unless you finish it, of course. You can't even pause or save your place, so make sure you have two hours free before you undertake this intense adventure.". Is this the case? -Ashley Pomeroy 17:33, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spoilers Galore

Can somebody please edit out the ridiculously placed spoilers in this article? Example "... especially when you find out that D stands for [BLANK]!" Ruined the game for me, thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.199.246.21 (talk) 18:20, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi, Per WP:SPOILER - there is a general disclaimer on each page."It is not acceptable to delete information from an article about a work of fiction because you think it spoils the plot" AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 16:24, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
