D/world

d/world incorporated (株式会社ディー・ワールド) was a Japanese production studio of anime. Established in 2001 as a 50/50 joint-venture between Dynamic Planning and Marubeni's subsidiary Omega Project, it had Federico Colpi and Toyoyuki Yokohama as CEOs. In late 2002, after producing the CG movie Cutie Honey (from the comic book by Go Nagai, directed by Blood: The Last Vampire's Hiroyuki Kitakubo) and the OAV series Mazinkaiser, it was liquidated because of Marubeni's exit from the anime business. Federico Colpi and former Accounting Director Kazuhiko Murata acquired the assets of the company and merged them into d/visual.
