D.C. Armory

The D.C. Armory is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Washington, D.C., USA. It hosts local sporting events and concerts, as well as inaugural balls. It was the site of WCW Capital Combat in 1990; more recently it served as a preliminary tryout venue for American Idol.

The DC Armory is now home to the DC Rollergirls, DC's female flat track roller derby league. Their first bout in the DC Armory was on February 23rd, 2008.

It was opened in 1941. It is located near RFK Memorial Stadium.
