D. M. Nanjundappa

Dr. Dogganal Mahadevappa Nanjundappa (D.M. Nanjundappa) was a noted economist from Karnataka.

He served as the Vice-chancellor of Bangalore University and Karnataka University.

He also served as Deputy Chair of the Karnataka State Planning Board.

He is well known for his “Report of the High Power Committee for Redressal of Regional Imbalances in Karnataka"

He died on Monday, September 26 2005 at Bangalore and was buried at his native place Dogganal, in Holalkere Taluk of Chitradurga District.
