Hero by Night tells the adventures of a young man, Jack King, who discovers an old super hero's hidden lair and all his gear. Instead of instantly becoming a hero, Jack decides to put the items on eBay to try to make a fortune, but it draws the attention of the original hero's archenemies. The comic book mini-series features the story of Jack King in the modern day faced with this dilemma of becoming a hero, or running away with fortune. [4] The book has been reviewed by Wizard Magazine [5] , and has ranked on Wizard's "Summer Heat Index". [6] The series has also been reviewed by online comic magazines such as Silver Bullet Comics [7], Newsarama.com [8] and AINT IT COOL NEWS [9]
The Hero By Night Journals [10] follow the stories of the original Hero from the 1940s and 1950s up until he vanishes.
In December 2007 the Hero By Night ongoing comic book series launched in comic book stores worldwide, and can also be read on the website. [11]
