D. D. Jackson

D. D. Jackson (born January 25, 1967 in Ottawa) is a jazz pianist and composer. He studied at the Manhattan School of Music and Indiana University. He has also done notable work with David Murray and is currently collaborating with Bob Weir, formerly of the Grateful Dead. [1] In addition to this he won the Juno Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Album - Instrumental in 2000.

He is currently based in New York City.
