D.A. Davidson & Co. is an employee-owned broker-dealer based in Great Falls, Montana, United States. Established in 1935, the company is considered[citation needed] the largest full-service investment firm based in the Pacific Northwest.
According to the company's annual report, D. A. Davidson & Co. provides investment guidance and products that include those in equity capital markets, fixed income capital markets and individual investment brokerage products and services. Within those business units, D. A. Davidson & Co. provides award-winning research and is a leader in corporate finance in the Pacific Northwest.[citation needed]
In 2007, D. A. Davidson & Co. underwrote nearly $4.2 billion of bonds to finance and refinance large and small public sector projects nationwide. D.A. Davidson ranked 14th nationwide in terms of public finance transactions closed, according to Securities Data Corp. figures.
