[edit] Availability of D-chiro-inositol in USA

Several web resources claim that DCI is not commercially available in the US. A recent change to this post contributed by 67.85.225.89 on the 13th of August asserted that DCI was not available and cited as a reference a web-based retailer of other (read: non-DCI) inositol isomers (http://www.ovarian-cysts-pcos.com/inositol.html#sec). This claim is demonstrably false; at least one outlet provides DCI to the public as a nutritional supplement in the US (http://www.chiralbalance.com). Furthermore, several companies internationally will supply DCI to academic institutions and businesses (http://www.chemexper.com/index.shtml?main=http://www.chemexper.com/search/cas/643-12-9.html). The version history clearly summarizes the back and forth on this question. Hopefully, this entry to the talk page will put the question to rest.
