The claim "The center of Vietnamese literature is in southern California" is also not an objective assessment.

Agree - this is a rather fatuous statement that violates NPOV. I can imagine Hương rolling her eyes at the idea of Orange County being the equivalent of Iona Abbey for Vietnamese literature. 202.161.7.69 12:00, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
