Volmerswerth is a borough in western Düsseldorf, District 3, by the river Rhine. It borders to the boroughs Hamm, Bilk and Flehe. Its area is 2.17 km².

While more and more houses are constructed, the still remaining agricultural land is the reason of many of the people coming to Volmerswerth for walking, inline-skating and bicycling along the Rhine on the weekends.
