Dún Laoghaire and Rathdown (Dáil Éireann constituency)

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown is a former parliamentary constituency in Ireland, which was represented in Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament or Oireachtas. It existed from 1948–1977. It elected three (and later four) Teachtaí Dála (TDs) to the Dáil, using the Single Transferable Vote method of proportional representation (PR-STV).

The constituency comprised of the Borough of Dún Laoghaire and the district electoral divisions of Ballybrack, Dundrum, Glencullen, Milltown, Rathfarnham, Rathmichael, Stillorgan and Whitechurch.

The constituency was created in 1948, under the Electoral (Amendment) Act 1947, for the 1948 general election to Dáil Éireann. It initially returned three TDs but under the Electoral (Amendment) Act 1961, it was increased to four from 1961 onwards. It was abolished under the Electoral (Amendment) Act 1974, and replaced by the new constituency of Dún Laoghaire.
