[edit] Made again

I tried to re-create this article after seeing that it had been deleted for some reason, basing on its Russian version also started by me. It seems to contain less information but it's better than not having an article at all. Please feel free to expand it... Eliascatcher (talk) 19:22, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

You might have missed this discussion. Are there any new sources you can add to help establish notability? --Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 19:23, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Can't 60 000 CDs sold be a proof of notability? French Wikipedia is the source. Eliascatcher (talk) 20:15, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
No, sales figures do not count towards notability on English Wikipedia. (Please see WP:N.) The main requirement is: A topic is presumed to be notable if it has received significant coverage in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject. You will see that at the deletion discussion I argued in favour of keeping the article on the basis of the band being written about in Voir, in 24 Heures, and in the Montreal Gazette, but the closing admin did not consider that to be sufficient. That is why I asked if you had any new sources, other newspaper or magazine articles perhaps. Thanks. --Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 20:40, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
At the DMM site there's a page with articles about the band which contains a lot of ones from various magazines and websites, including Radio France International, Rolling Stone and others. Eliascatcher (talk) 06:51, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Excellent; I think that helps very much towards arguing that this band is notable. --Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 16:07, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
