Défense Conseil International, also known as Groupe DCI or simply DCI, is a French company that provides technical assistance to customers of French arms manufacturers.

[edit] Overview

DCI is 50% owned by the French Defense Ministry. The company is divided into two major business domains: financial and operational.

The financial domain includes the subsidiaries Financière de Brienne and Brienne Conseil et Finance, which provide funding for small companies engaged in development of promising technologies.

The operational domain includes the subsidiaries COFRAS, NAVFCO, AIRCO, and DEFCO. The first three of these provide technical assistance for land, naval, and air armament customers; the last essentially functions as a risk-management consultancy.
