Décines-Charpieu

Décines-Charpieu is a commune in the département of Rhône and the Rhône-Alpes region of France. It is a suburb of the city of Lyon, and is located east-northeast of it. It is a member of the metropolitan Urban Community of Lyon. In the 1999 census, Décines-Charpieu had a population of 24,193. The commune has a land area of 17.01 km² (6.568 sq mi).
