Dè a-nis?

Dè a-Nis? (pronounced: Jay a-neesh) is a Scottish Gaelic-language children's program, produced by BBC Alba. Launched in 1993, the programme is usually shown on BBC Two Scotland Thursday nights at 6pm. It can also be seen on TeleG. The 16th series is due to begin in October 08, starting with a special episode for the mod.

The programme is one of of the few gaelic shows not to be subtiled because it is shown live from studio B in Pacific Quay Studios.

Dè a-nis? often presents special episodes such as the opening of Inverness Gaelic School, St. Patricks day from Dublin and the mòd. For Children in need 2007, Dè a-nis ran a number of events incling Eilidh and Jo (from Aileag) cycling the length of the Western Isles and Sarah and Calum abseiling on BBC Scotland building and raising £865.
