Czesław Marchaj

Professor Czesław A. Marchaj (born in Słomniki, Poland, on July 9, 1918) is a Polish Yachtsman whose published scientific study of the aerodynamics and hydrodynamics of sailing boats has been hugely influential on yacht, sail and rig designers since the publication of his classic work "Sailing Theory & Practice" in the mid 1960s.
