[edit] Triple elimination chart

Howdy! It was qite a while ago but Thanks for the chart. :-D The "If Necessary" matches are the idea that I was missing when I was tying myself in knots trying to work out how it was done. ;-) The tournament that I was interested in is still going on (turn-based backgammon with 64 starters and long match lengths. It'll be months before the final!). I'm not the TD but I checked out the chart for the guy who is and discovered flaws, the most obvious being that the winner of the top bracket was playing it as a single elimination. DailyGammon Never-ending 3 Chances I've bookmarked your site for future reference. Thanks again. :-D Ferdinangus (talk) 07:49, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Triple elimination chart

Thanks very much for the kind words. I'm glad that my inputs into designing triple-elimination tournaments helped you with your tournament. I visited your '3 Chances' backgammon tourney page. Wow, that's a huge bracket diagram. I see that it's an Excel sheet converted to HTML. It came out pretty good, but I can see how it's limiting to illustrate complex brackets.
