Not much to say I have just been looking at the reference desk a lot, started to recognise some names cropping up a lot, fancied a name of my own. Maybe you'll get the origin of the name if I explain that I am interested in all things Anglo-Saxon (history, culture and language), the much underestimated origin of England, a country which I am proud to call my own. I am however no expert. I know a bit about physics (to cover two completely different areas!). Just generally enjoy adding my more or less informed opinions on the reference desks, I'll add more as I think of it.
- There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word, which means more to me than any other. That word is England - Sir Winston Churchill
- There is no such thing as society. There are individual men and women, and there are families. And no government can do anything except through people, and people must look to themselves first. It's our duty to look after ourselves and then to look after our neighbour. - Baroness Thatcher
