Cytora hispida is a species of small land snail, a terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Liareidae.

This species is endemic to Cape Maria van Diemen and North Cape at the north of the North Island of New Zealand.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is is similar in outline to Cytora aranea but the axial ribs bear bristles, and are more numerous.
Coloration of the shell is reddish-brown.
Shell height is up to 3.5 mm, and width up to 1.75 mm.
