Cytora filicosta is a species of small land snail, a terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Liareidae.

This species is endemic to the Three Kings Islands of New Zealand.

This snail is found in leaf mould.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is acutely conical, with lightly convex whorls, and a sub-angled periphery. It is sculptured with numerous retractive membranous axial threads.
Coloration of the shell is very dark brown, almost black.
Shell height is up to 4.2 mm, and width up to 2.9 mm.
