Cytora aranea is a species of small land snail, a terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Liareidae.

This species is endemic to the Hokianga Harbour area of the North Island of New Zealand.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is small, sculptured with numerous, plain, thread-like, obliquely retractive axials, that stand out white against a dark reddish-brown ground. The surface has exceedingly fine spiral wrinkles.
Shell height is up to 3 mm, and width up to 1.5 mm.
