What is the purpose of the Herodotus sentence? Herotodus was not really contemporary, and he had no reason to concern himself in particular with the tiny Persian sub-province of Yahud. The so-called "Kurash Prism" is nothing else than an outdated translation of the Cyrus Cylinder. You can compare it with lines 20-23 and 30-33 of this translation. Amizzoni (talk) 00:31, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
