[edit] Names in the ancestry template
I am reverting the non-constructive edits to the ancestry template which have no rationale. When first implemented, and during cleanup of articles, names are linked in the simplest form which is generally that prescribed by WP:NC(NT). According to the convention, monarchs (kings and emperors) and their consorts are named in the form Name (Ordinal) of Place, junior members of royal families are named Title Name of Place and those with substantive titles or ruling titles less than king are named Name, Title of Place. This is a consistent treatment and is suitable given that is how the articles are actually named. Charles 03:24, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
