Cyril Towers

Cyril Towers (30 July 1906 — 1985) was an Australian rugby player.
Towers was a bank teller. Playing for Randwick 233 times, New South Wales 48 times, The Waratahs 25 times and gaining 19 caps for Australia, twice captaining them.
He pioneered running rugby tactics.
His son-in-law Jake Howard played for in the front-row for the Wallabies in the 1970s. Jake's son, Cyril's grandson Pat Howard, also played centre for Australia in the 1990s.
