Cyril Offord

Albert Cyril Offord FRS (June 9, 1906June 4, 2000) was a British mathematician. He received two Ph.D.s in mathematics: from the University of London in 1932, and from Oxford in 1936.[1]

He was the first professor of mathematics at the London School of Economics.

His Erdős number is 1.
