Cyril Dessel (born 29 November 1974 in Rive-de-Gier) is a French professional road racing cyclist for UCI ProTeam Ag2r-La Mondiale. He made his professional debut in 2000 with the Jelly Belly Cycling Team and later raced for the Jean Delatour and Phonak teams.[1]

In 2006, he won the Tour Méditerranéen on the UCI Europe Tour.[2] Then in the 2006 Tour de France, he finished second in the tenth stage of the race, taking for one day the race leader's yellow jersey as well as the lead in the King of the Mountains competition;[3] he eventually finished sixth in the race.[4]
