I know people who live across from Cypress Gardens. The US Census Bureau and User:Rambot may say there is a Census-Designated place called "Cypress Gardens", but people who live in this area say they are from Winter Haven.

[edit] What is the point of the "Gallery" section?

All of these images appear to be at best an annoyance for Wikipedia because:

1. Having a gallery of badly-labelled pictures in the middle of an article do not contribute useful informaiton to this project, &
2. A quick glance into the source of one of these images leads to http://www.actwon.com/cg/ap/, which has the very unambiguous notice: "These Photos are Not For Sale Not to be copied Not to be used by anyone else Not to be used on any other page, etc... They are for Personal Use and Enjoyment Only"

Consider this official notice that these are likely a copyvio & if so will be deleted. -- llywrch 01:24, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] History

The history of this article starts in the 1980's?? This park has been around since something like 1936... Surely there is more to say about the early years, which were indeed the park's "glory days". I'd write it, but don't have much info on the subject... --Rehcsif 17:59, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

The article is better now (it at least acknowledges the early park history), but this section is still very brief. I'd like to see it expanded further... --Rehcsif 03:18, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Incomplete Sentence

To continue with their business plan, the developers Lawrence Maxwell and Bill Reynolds used tactics which the protestors considered environmentally.

environmentally harmful? I would guess something on this order, but I'm not sure enough to just add it in. --Rehcsif 18:04, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Since nobody seems to know, and someone flagged the whole article as {{copyedit}} just because of this, I removed the entire sentence. --Rehcsif 22:39, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
