Cyprus-Swiss relations are foreign relations between Cyprus and Switzerland. The Republic of Cyprus was proclaimed in 1960 and was immediately recognised by Switzerland, which had had a consular agency in the country since 1937. In 1983 this became a Consulate General and in 1990 an embassy. Cyprus is represented in Switzerland through its embassy in Rome (Italy). Cyprus has consulates general in Geneva and in Zurich.
