Cypress Cyclones

The Cypress Cyclones are a Canadian Junior ice hockey franchise from Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. They currently play in the Prairie Junior Hockey League.

The Cypress Cyclones' home arena is the Maple Creek Community Arena (built in 2004). Their colours are green, white, and black.

The Cyclones' expansion season came in 2005-2006 where they registered 11 wins and finished in fifth place. They followed up in 2006-2007 by posting 17 wins and finishing in 3rd place.

The Cyclones' coaching staff has been in place since inception. Former Prince Albert Raider (when they were in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League) Blaine Stork is head coach and general manager. The Associate Coach and Director of Player Personnel is former Moose Jaw Canuck (South Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League) Sean Chapman. Jack Cameron, of Maple Creek, completes the staff as the goaltending coach.

Cade Slusar, a native of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, is the Cyclones' all time leading regular season scorer (71 games - 51 goals - 58 assists = 109 points). Kevin Woloshyn of Selkirk Manitoba is the Cyclones' career goaltending leader (13 wins - 3.96 GAA - .893 save percentage).
