Found a small patch of this just today, twining around cacti in Calico Basin west of Las Vegas. Interestingly, the Spring Mountains checklist (Mentzelia 8, 2007) only records it as being found in the far north of the range. I'll upload pics at some point. Stan (talk) 22:33, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
